I have never read a Discworld book, but I have heard that there are several and that it's a really great series. I think it would really be a great set of books to read aloud with my husband. I am glad that the series continues to impress you. I will be looking into these books. Great review and great excerpts!

I loved the Tiffany Aching books, although I've had mixed luck with Pratchett's other work that I've read. I'm with Eva... this one is my favorite of the three.

I haven't read any of the Discworld books, and your post reminded me that I still have Nation sitting on my shelf waiting to be read. I've got to make some time for that one.

I just finished my second Discworld book and can't wait to keep going! I'm also a sucker for puns so I'm sure I will find them funny every single time. :)

I have just recently discovered Terry Pratchett and am hot to trot to read some more of what has so far been such entertaining books. Happy to know they have staying power!
